Archive or Restore an Archived battery

  • Only an Administrator may Archive or Restore an Archived battery.
  • The main reason to Archive a battery would be if the customer wishes to remove the battery from service but keep it as a spare.
  • Archiving a battery will keep the battery in the customer Library but will make it inactive including removing it from scheduled inspections and watering.
  • As the battery is still in the Library you cannot add another battery using the same reference or ID.
  • The main reason to Restore an Archived battery is that a battery had been removed from service and held as a spare and is being returned to service.
  • From the Dashboard select a customer and location if applicable.
  • Click the battery ID and Scroll down to and expand Battery Details.
  • Scroll to the bottom of Battery Details where you will find the Clear History, – Battery and Archive battery buttons.
  • Click the Archive button and a Battery archived confirmation will appear.
  • The battery will appear at the bottom of the Library list with the word Archived in the Action column.
  • From the Dashboard select a customer and location if applicable.
  • Archived batteries are located at the bottom of the customers Library.
  • Click the battery ID and Scroll down to and expand Battery Details.
  • Scroll to the bottom of Battery Details where you will find the – Battery and Restore battery buttons.
  • Click the Restore battery button and a Battery restored confirmation will appear.
